Answer this1 AnswerGoing to Azores during the months of January and February isn't ideal. You could run into the rainy season. Generally, the best time to visit is from June-September. This is when the weather is most pleasant.
It depends on how much time you have to explore while the ship is docked - if you have the time I think an all-day tour would be the better choice. As for things to do, check with the cruise line for activities in the places you stop by - they always have suggestions!
