Anonymous user asked:what's the best area to veiw whalesAnswer this2 AnswersAnonymous user answered:Little known secret: I worked on a construction barge in Anchorage for a couple years... go downtown to the City Dock (hard to explain, just ask around) and walk out to the end of the artificial jedi. Bring a book and a lounge chair. Show up an hour before high tide, and plan to stay a couple hours. The beluga whales will swim by within 40 feet of you, if they come by at all. This used to be successful 75% of the time I tried... now that they are endangered, it happens about 25% of the time. But you can get some amazing photos. Good luck!

Anonymous user asked:can i visit alaska with only my driver's license from washington state??Answer this2 AnswersAnonymous user answered:Depends on if you fly or drive. Flying, yes, a driver's license is fine b/c you never leave the U.S. If you drive over the border into Canada en route to Alaska, you'll need a Passport.
