Just 29km (18 miles) south of Tijuana and a complete departure in ambience, Rosarito Beach is a tranquil, friendly beach town. Hollywood has played a major part in Rosarito's recent renaissance -- it was the location for the sound stage and filming of the Academy Award-winning Titanic. The former Titanic Museum -- now called Foxploration -- continues to draw the fans of this film, and movie-making in general.
