Contest Rules for the Trip of Your Choice Sweepstakes

THE FOLLOWING SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN FOR PLAY ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AND SHALL ONLY BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO UNITED STATES LAW. DO NOT ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKES IF YOU ARE NOT LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.

NO PURCHASE OR OTHER CONSIDERATION NECESSARY TO ENTER. MAKING A PURCHASE OR ENTERING ON THE WEB SITE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. How to Enter: From 12:01:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on 0/01/2009 through 11:59:59 p.m. EDT on 12/31/2009, visit Away.com and submit your entry at http://away.com/contest/contest-entry-form.tcl?domain=oi_contest&from_website=rules. You must first register with Away.com to enter. Registration is free.
Only one entry per person/email address. No mechanical reproduction of entries allowed. All entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 12/31/2009. All web site entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account which may be identified by reverse domain name search. In the event of any dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the e-mail address from which the e-mail was sent.

Orbitz Away LLC (hereinafter referred to as "Sponsor"), assume no responsibility for lost, late, i, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, or r computer system, hardware, software, or program malfunctions or for other errors, failures, or delays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature.

2. Drawing and Notification: Winner will be selected from all eligible entries in a random drawing on or about 01/15/2010. Winner will be notified by e-mail or phone within 48 hours after the drawing. Winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability and Publicity Release within 7 days (168 hours) of prize notification or prize is forfeited, except where prohibited by law. Winner's guest will be required to sign a Liability Release. In the event of noncompliance, or in the event any prize notification is returned as undeliverable, an alternate winner will be selected. Odds of winning are determined by the number of eligible entries received. The drawing will be conducted by The Away Network, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters.

3. Eligibility: The Trip of Your Choice Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. Employees of The Away Network, Orbitz LLC, and their respective parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies and the advertising and promotional agencies involved in the development, administration and execution of this Sweepstakes and the immediate family (spouse, parent, sibling and children, regardless of where they live) and members of their same households (whether related or not) of such employees and directors are not eligible.

4. Prize: One (1) grand prize consisting of a $2,000 travel allowance redeemable on a trip booked through Orbitz.com. Winner may use the $2,000 allowance for only one trip for up to two people. Prize winner and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary. An advance notice of forty-five (45) days is required for all airfare and trip destinations. Travel must be completed by 12/31/10. Trips sold by Orbitz.com's partners that are accessible by clicking through the http://orbitz.com site, but are not sold through the Orbitz Call Center, are excluded from this promotion. Any options, extensions, and/or miscellaneous additional costs, which bring the cost to more than $2,000, are responsibility of winner. If winner finds it necessary to cancel after reservations have been confirmed, any cancellation penalties will be deducted from the $2,000 allowance. No cash credit will be given if the trip chosen is less than $2,000 and/or if winner cannot use the prize. If trip selected does not include airfare, winner may apply the unused portion of the $2,000 allowance toward roundtrip coach class airfare booked through the Orbitz.com Call Center. Winner is responsible for obtaining and paying for visas, shots, passports or other documents if required. Travel insurance is optional at an additional cost and recommended. Trip values are based on Orbitz.com pricing at the time travel arrangements are made. Trips are subject to availability at the time of booking and other restrictions may apply. Terms and conditions of the trip set forth by both the supplier and http://orbitz.com apply. Prize is not transferable. Winner and his/her guest will be solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein, including but not limited to taxes, gratuities, souvenirs and any other incidentals. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers.

5. General Terms & Conditions: No cash redemptions or substitutions permitted, except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the featured prize becomes unavailable. Federal, state and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release The Away Network, Orbitz LLC, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and the advertising and promotion agencies involved in the development, administration and execution of this Sweepstakes, and all their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from all liability with respect to acceptance, possession or use of the prize awarded, including but not limited to any travel related thereto. By accepting prize, winner consents to the use of their name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes by Promotional Parties without additional compensation, except where prohibited.

If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the online portion of the Sweepstakes and/or to select the single prize winner from among the entries received prior to the suspension or termination of the program; and Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with or in any way corrupts the entry process. Automated entries are prohibited.

6. As a condition of entering, entrants (or their parent or legal guardian if an eligible minor) agree (and agree to confirm in writing): (a) to release Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, sales representatives, distributors and Orbitz, LLC and each of their officers, directors, employees and agents ("Promotional Parties"), from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any prize, (b) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; (c) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (d) any and all claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys' fees and court costs.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

By entering, entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of Illinois, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Illinois.
