This route leads along the North Fork Virgin River from the South Entrance station to Zion Canyon junction. It is a paved route accessible from South Campground and the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. The trail follows the river crossing it three times en route to the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway. This easy trail gains 50 feet round trip. It is open to individuals using wheelchairs, mountain bikes and pets (on leash).
Directions: From South Entrance, Drive northward .5 miles to the access road for South Campground. The trail leads through the campground and is also accessible via a short walk from the visitor center.
Elevation: 3,975 feet
Ending Elevation: 4,025 feet
Usage: Heavy
