This lake is at 6,500 feet and has handicap access. Full camping facilities are available. With its small trail around the lake and options for additional hiking in the area, this is a great place for kids. For a spectacular view of Kangaroo Lake and the entire Scott Valley area, you can hike up a trail that links into the Pacific Crest Trail.
