Whiteoak Canyon ranks as one of the more popular spots in Shenandoah National Park. Six waterfalls ranging from 35 to 86 feet high become swimming pools on those hot, humid days. More adventurous travelers should hike to the upper falls, while those who prefer less strenuous, child-friendly hikes should try the two-mile trail to the lower falls.
