This is a convenient hike to an observation platform offering views of Luray, Virginia, know for its caverns, Massanutten Mountain, Stony Man, Marys Rock and Hawksbill, the park's highest peak. The observation platform juts out offering views of almost 360 degrees. Because of this feature, the platform is also used as a hang-glider launch.
