The Little Baldy Trail is an easy trek to the summit of a granite dome that provides sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. Begin your hike from Little Baldy Saddle on the Generals Highway. The trail leads northward and ascends immediately. It consists of long switchbacks that climb 650 feet to the 8,044 foot summit of Little Baldy. Almost immediately hikers are rewarded with views of nearby granite domes. Bring a topo map of the area so you can pick out nearby mountains.
Directions: From Dorst Campground, Travel one mile eastward on Generals Highway to the Little Baldy Trailhead on the northern side of the road.

Ending Elevation: 8,044 feet
Elevation Gain: 700 feet
Usage: Moderate
