The hiking trail begins at the end of Boone Spur and travels through Boone Meadow, along the steep drainage of Machine Creek, ending at the junction of the Sirretta Trail. This is a downhill hike past several scenic creeks.
This scenic trail ride starts at Corral Meadow and travels down the Trout Creek drainage to Boone Meadow Trail. Best suited for intermediate riders.
Directions: From Kernville, Travel north about 16 miles on Mtn. 99 and turn right (east) onto Sherman Pass Rd. (22S05) and travel about 13 miles where Sherman Pass intersects the trail. turn north to travel towards the Schaeffer Trail or south for a longer section of Trout Creek.
Elevation: 6,960 feet
Elevation Gain: 1,060 feet
Distance: 4.4 miles
Difficulty: Moderate
