This winding trail takes the hiker along side the Potomac River and its tributary, Powell's Creek and loops back by the boat launch area.
Directions: From Washington, D.C., Leesylvania State Park is in southeastern Prince William County. It is approximately 20 miles south of Washington, D.C. and 20 miles north of Fredericksburg. From I-95, take Rippon Landing Exit 156. Go east on Rt. 784 to U.S. 1. From U.S. 1, Rt. 610 (Neabsco Road) and head east two miles. Continue on the main park road to the second parking area. Bushey Point begins here.
