This trail leads three miles along the southern bank of the Sol Duc River. It crosses the outlet stream from Mink Lake and Canyon Creek before ending at the Deer Lakes Trail.

This short trail begins at the Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort along Sol Duc River Road. The trail crosses the river immediately south of the resort and turns eastward. It ascends slightly above the southern river bank and crosses Mink Lake Creek within a mile of the trailhead. Continuing eastward the trail meets the river and parallels it to Sol Duc Falls on Canyon Creek. The trail crosses Canyon Creek and shortly afterward reaches its eastern terminus at the Deer Lake Trail.

Directions: From junction of Highway 101 and Sol Duc River Road, Drive southward on the Sol Duc River Road 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort. Park in the day-use area and cross the river to begin the Lovers Lane Trail.
