This trail begins three miles off Highway Two on the Martin Creek Road and is an historic and scenic trail which follows the old Great Northern Railroad grade, built in the 1890's. There are two grades which can be accessed from Martin Creek. The lower grade is a half mile in length and is wheelchair accessible. The upper grade is two miles long and accessible to hikers only,

Directions: From Lake Wenatchee, Travel west on U.S. Highway 2. West of Stevens Pass, take Martin Creek Road north for 3 miles.
