This short trail begins from the Loomis Museum parking area. The trail leads around Reflection Lake and Lily Pond. The route is one mile long and accompanied by a interpretive brochure. Obtain a trail leaflet from the trailhead. This will describe the natural features as well as identify plants along the trail. The route follows an abandoned road along the western side of Reflection Lake. On the north shore the trail changes to single track as it leads close to the lake edge. At a trail junction on the northeastern shore of Reflection Lake hike northward (left) to reach Lily Pond. The trail leads around the northern edge of the pond then returns to the parking area.
Directions: From Northwest Entrance, Follow Highway 89 southeastward .5 miles to the Loomis Museum parking area. Park in the lot and look for the Lily Pond Nature Trail across the park road.
