Follow the trail around 125-degree Boiling Springs Lake. Crossing a meadow, stretching into forest, and circling the lake, the path is shaded by cedar, ponderosa pine, and white fir.

  • Parking is available west of the Warner Valley Campground. This hike is a pretty easy one, with only a 200-foot climb and is three miles round trip.
  • Check out the mud pots on the southeast shore. But always use caution in this area! Remember it can be slippery in areas, and the lake is hot at 125 degrees. It is, after all, a volcanic park.
