The Mount Franklin Trail is located 0.2-mile west of Three-Mile Campground running between Rock Harbor Trail and Greenstone Ridge Trail. The trail makes several ascents to forested and open ridges and several descents to lowlands. A trail junction with Tobin Harbor Trail is encountered about midway to The Greenstone. The final half-mile to The Greenstone is a steep and exhausting climb. From the trail junction with The Greenstone, head east to reach Lookout Louise, head west to reach Mt. Ojibway, or head north to reach Lane Cove.

Directions: From Three-Mile Campground, Three-Mile Campground lies several miles west of Rock Harbor along the Rock Harbor Trail which is reachable by foot or boat.
