The Mount Franklin Trail is located 0.2-mile west of Three-Mile Campground running between Rock Harbor Trail and Greenstone Ridge Trail. The trail makes several ascents to forested and open ridges and several descents to lowlands. A trail junction with Tobin Harbor Trail is encountered about midway to The Greenstone.
