Mt. Ives Trail is best reserved for the more experienced hiker.

Mt. Ives Trail is a strenuous yet very scenic hike or ride extending 6.4 miles. It is marked with orange blazes while carrying the user over rough and steep terrain.

Directions: From Chillicothe, OH, Take State Route 159 north to Delano Road, turn right and go to the Marietta Road. Travel past the campground entrance and proceed about 1 mile to Rocky Road. Turn left and follow it about 1 mile reaching Lick Run Road. Turn right onto Lick Run and proceed about 1 more mile to trailhead parking.

Elevation Gain: 400 feet

Difficulty: Strenuous
