Shawnee Ridge Trail travels 7.8 miles and is marked with blue blazes. Hikers and horseback riders experience a number of ascends and descents to Bald Hill, Sand Hills and parts of Rocky Knob. Users should be aware that several steep sections exist. The last spur, leading back to the parking lot, makes this trek an 8.6 mile adventure.

Directions: From Chillicothe, OH, Take State Route 159 north to Delano Road, turn right and go to the Marietta Road intersection; turn right to the park entrance. Follow signs to multi-use campground. (Park office has trail maps.)
