The Big Creek Trail is located in the campground just south of Waterville and the Big Creek Ranger Station. The trail is part of a network of trails, looping with Baxter Creek, Swallow Fork Trail and Low Gap Trail, all of which are just south of the famous Appalachian Trail.
Directions: From Waterville, NC, Travel south on SR 32 to the campground and pick up the trail there.

Elevation Gain: 1,300 feet
