Montville Nature Trail is a hiker-only path that begins northeast of the visitor center. The shaded half-mile trail, which guides hikers through diverse vegetation and crosses Mosca Creek, was named in conjunction with an 1800's settlement at the foot of Mosca Pass, where Europeans first inhabited this area.
