Static Peak Divide Trail, located in Death Canyon, offers a very strenuous 15.6 roundtrip hike. Numerous switchbacks climb through whitebark pine forest to impressive views of the Teton Range and Jackson Hole.

Directions: From Moose, Go left at the Moose Wilson Road and travel southwest on road to Death Canyon Trailhead.

Elevation: 6,400 feet

Elevation Gain: 4,020 feet

Distance: 15.6 miles

Difficulty: Strenuous
