Taggart Lake Trail, located south of Garnet Canyon beneath the South Teton, offers a moderate 3.2 mile roundtrip hike. The trail traverses an area burned in 1985 to reach Taggart Lake. Self-guided leaflets are available at the trailhead and visitor center in Moose.

Directions: From Moose, Travel north on the Teton Park Road to the Taggart Lake Trailhead.

Elevation: 6,800 feet

Elevation Gain: 277 feet

Distance: 3.2 miles
