Boone Trail is 6 miles long and marked with blue blazes. Average walking time is 4 hours. This loop trail connects all major attractions of French Creek, making it an excellent route to see what the park has to offer. Start your trip at Hopewell Lake Boat Launch parking lot, Group Tenting Area "A", Campground Contact Station, or Hopewell Furnace Visitor Center (using connector trails). Several portions are steep and rocky, so wear sturdy shoes.

Directions: From Birdsboro, PA, Take SR 345 south of Birdsboro about 5 miles to the park's east entrance. Travel to the fork in the road and bear left onto Park Road, then another left into the picnic and boat launch area. OR travel east from Morgantown on SR 23 to SR 345 North to the park's south entrance. Turn left on South Entrance Road then turn right onto Park Road. Travel to your second right to reach the picnic and boat launch area. The trail begins in many locations, with the boat launch area being well marked.
