The trail parallels the river for 10 miles and ends at Hell Hole Reservoir. This is a popular trail and scenic overlook with many fishing and swimming holes.

Directions: From Georgetown,, Travel 15 miles east on Wentworth Springs Road, turn north on Eleven Pines Road. Continue 5 miles to the Rubicon River.

Elevation: 3,500 feet

Ending Elevation: 5,000 feet

Elevation Gain: 1,500 feet

Difficulty: Moderate
