This 0.8-mile strenuous trek provides users with many scenic and recreational possibilities. The trail drops into the Rubicon River, ending in a beautiful gorge with a large fishing and swimming hole.
Rubicon River is a designated wild trout river from Hell Hole Dam to the confluence with the American River. Rainbows and large brown trout are present. Season runs from last Saturday in April through November 15th.
Directions: From Georgetown, Travel 15 miles east of on Wentworth Springs Road, turn north on Eleven Pines Road. Continue approximately 2 miles to the trailhead on the left.

Elevation Gain: 800 feet
