There are three separate ways to reach this trail that travels the eastern slopes of Moat Range. Red Ridge Trail makes a nice circuit hike when combined with Moat Mountain Trail. The trail offers a number of panoramic views from large outcroppings while ascending and descending through a forest of scrub trees.
Directions: From Echo Lake State Park, NH, Begin on White Horse Ledge Trail or Cathedral Ledge Trail and travel to Red Ridge Link Trail which links to Red Ridge Trail. The trail may also be accessed off Moat Mountain Trail about midway between Middle Moat Mountain and North Moat Mountain. OR from a northern stretch of Moat Mountain Trail near Lucy Brook.
