This trail leads a half mile to the Hebe volcanic crater. A longer loop can be incorporated by walking the Ubehebe Crater Trail.

Little Hebe Crater Trail begins west of Scotty's Castle at the Ubehebe Crater parking area. The trail leads .5 miles, one way through volcanic craters and unusual erosional features. Following the trail around Ubehebe Crater, hikers will complete a one and a half mile loop.

Directions: From Scotty's Castle, Follow Highway 267 southward to the park entrance station. Turn right on a spur road that leads a few miles westward to Ubehehe Crater.

Elevation: 2,550 feet

Elevation Gain: 230 feet

Difficulty: Easy
