Red Wall Canyon Trail begins along Highway 267 south of Scotty's Castle. The hike begins by climbing an alluvial fan that has eroded from the Grapevine Mountains. Once atop the alluvial fan hikers should look for the meeting of red and black rock. This will guide you toward the mouth of Red Wall Canyon. The route leads one mile northeastward through the narrow canyon. It ends at a dry fall that impedes further exploration.
Directions: From Scotty's Castle, Drive southward on Highway 267 to the trailhead. The trail starts right on Scotty's Castle Road, 3.8 miles north of the Titus Canyon Road exit.
