The Little Bridge Canyon Trail begins on Highway 190 east of Grotto Canyon and Stovepipe Wells. Parking is available along the highway. The trail leads southward from the highway along the Little Bridge drainage. It begins below sea level and gains approximately 1,640 feet. Hikers should ascend the alluvial fan two miles south of the road to the canyon mouth. The canyon is very wide at first before narrowing. A small arch appears on the right half a mile into the canyon. Look for a 20-foot high natural bridge that spans the east side of the canyon. There are white quartzite canyon walls and interesting side canyons to explore. There are canyon narrows to explore toward the mouth of the drainage.
Directions: From Furnace Creek, Follow Highway 190 toward Stovepipe Wells. The trail starts on Highway 190, 3 miles east of Stovepipe Wells Village. Park along side of road, at the first major canyon east of Grotto Canyon.
