This short trail begins from the end of Panorama Point Road and leads less than one half mile southeastward to Sunset Point. The point lies at an elevation of 6,400 feet above Sulphur Creek. This overlook is easy to reach and provides views of Capitol Reef, eastward, and the Henry Mountains, southward.
Directions: From Capitol Reef Visitor Center, Drive west along Highway 24 for 2.75 miles to the Panorama Point access road. Turn left on to this road and drive a quarter mile to road's end and the trailhead.
