The Gooseneck Trail begins from the eastern portion of White Rim Road slightly more than one mile west of the Potash/White Rim Road junction. It leads one half mile eastward gaining 50 feet in elevation to Goose Neck overlook. The perspective from Goose Neck overlook is westward across the Colorado River at the Goose Neck meander. A four-wheel drive vehicle is necessary to reach this track.
Directions: From Capitol Reef Visitor Center, Drive west along Highway 24 3 miles to the Chimney Rock Parking Area.
Elevation: 6,100 feet
Ending Elevation: 6,650 feet
Usage: Heavy
