This easy trail follows the rim with spectacular views for 5.5 miles between Bryce Point in the south and Fairyland Point in the north. The half-mile section between Sunset and Sunrise Points is level and paved; other sections are gently rolling. Most people walk just sections of it or use it to reach Under the Rim Trail or Fairyland Loop. If you hike the entire length and can arrange a shuttle (the park has a free shuttle in summer), you'll enjoy a gradual drop in elevation of 540 feet.

  • This is the easiest of the park's trails, so you don't need to be athletic to enjoy it!
  • Remember to bring a hat and sunscreen as the thin air filters out less of the sun's radiation at these elevations.
  • Bryce Point is at 8,354 feet, and Fairyland Point at 7,758 feet.
