The Nature Trail begins in the Upper Campground area and passes the confluence of Butler Hollow and Sugar Camp Run, both of which are tributaries to Kettle Creek Reservoir. The trail travels on both sides of the small creek and offers access to the multi-use trails that travel onto Sproul State Forest property. It also provides access to the day-use area.
Directions: From Renovo, PA, Travel SR 120 west for approximately 7 miles, turning right onto Kettle Creek Road which takes you into the state park. Continue past the dam and take your second left which takes you to a small parking lot and restroom facility by the Upper Campground. The trail starts on the north side of the lot.
