The Moss-Hanne Trail winds around the Black Moshannon Bog Natural Area which is an unusual area given the location. The underlying sandstone, being close to the surface here, creates wetland environments.

Directions: From Philipsburg, PA, Travel SR 504 east about 9 miles to the state park. Once you enter the park, turn right on West Side Drive. Take it to the very end where there is an overlook spot and trailhead for the Moss-Hanne Trail.
