Star Mill Trail travels along side the southeastern stretch of the lake traveling from boat launch No. 4 and down (south) onto Julian Pike Road. If you walk the road a very short distance, you can pick up Moss-Hanne Trail and travel back through the woods and natural bog area to reach the other side of the lake and a number of other park facilities including a scenic overlook of the lake and bog. The Moss-Hanne Trail is rather long, so plan accordingly.

Directions: From Philipsburg, PA, Travel SR 504 east about 9 miles to the state park. Once you enter the park, pass over the bridge and turn right onto Julian Pike Road. Travel to the last boat launch on your right (No. 4) and begin the trail there.
