Park Avenue Trail leads through a canyon lined with formations in the Entrada sandstone resembling skyscrapers. The route begins at Park Avenue Viewpoint along the park road. From this point it descends into a canyon lined with Navajo Sandstone. The trail follows the wash as it cuts to Courthouse Towers Viewpoint. The one-way mileage is one mile. Many hikers have a shuttle retrieve them from Courthouse Towers. The hike back to the trailhead includes a 320-foot ascent out of the canyon.
Directions: From Main Entrance, Drive northward on the park road 2 miles to the Park Avenue Overlook. The trail begins at this parking area.

Ending Elevation: 4,240 feet
