This trail leads a quarter mile to the base of Double Arch. These two large rock spans are connected at one end.

This easy route lies in the Windows District of Arches National Park. It follows a sand-covered path to the base of Double Arch, two large rock spans connected at one end. The trail is one half mile round-trip with little elevation gain.

Directions: From Main Park Entrance, Drive 9 miles northward along the park road to Balanced Rock parking area. Turn right at Balanced Rock and drive 3 miles to the Windows Parking Area. Parking is available on both sides of the road as it forms a loop to return to Balanced Rock.

Elevation: 5,100 feet

Ending Elevation: 5,200 feet

Usage: Heavy

Difficulty: Easy
