View one of the remaining few stands of Jack Pine and experience the opportunity to view sea animals.

Along this hike, the visitor will experience a remote coastal peninsula along the rugged Maine coast. The trail travels through stunted spruces, over granite ledges and through low blueberry shrubs. White-tailed deer inhabit the area as well as a variety of seabirds. One of the unique features of the trail is the stand of Jack Pines.

Directions: From Milbridge, ME, Travel US 1 west a short distance to Pigeon Hill Road. Follow it for 6.2 miles to a small parking area. The trail begins there.
