  • Owen Beach is one of Point Defiance Park's most popular attractions. You can see Vashon Island and watch the nearby ferries traveling back and forth.
  • Love to kayak? Kayak rentals are available at Owen beach noon to 7:00 p.m. daily, weather permitting. Rentals include a PFD (life jacket) as well as a float cushion. You need a driver's license to rent boats.
  • Beach facilities include waterfront picnic shelters with grills, a restroom, a bathhouse, food concession, and free parking.
