  • Most of the 792 animals at this zoo/aquarium combo on the shores of Puget Sound live around the Pacific Rim.
  • Want to get a close look at the creatures you might see out in the Sound? Head to the aquarium's North Pacific Aquarium. There's even a northern Pacific tidepool. Rocky Shores is the area with popular marine animals including Beluga whales, walrus, sea otters, and puffins.
  • Watch for animals strolling around the the 29-acre grounds. The keepers will tell you all about them.
