Big amusement parks can be a bummer for little kids, who can't ride most of the scary coasters. That's what makes Magic Forest great for younger children. The majority of the rides are geared toward kids ten and under. You can expect shorter waits than you’ll find at a typical large-scale amusement park, and though Magic Forest is showing its age, visitors love the retro charm and laid-back attitude that seems to hearken back to a time when family vacations were simpler.

Young kids love riding in the safari tram, and parents with a sense of humor will get a kick out of the enormous animals along the route. A few rides aimed at big kids and adults give the rest of the family their own chance for amusement-park fun.
