Mountain Meadow Trail Rides explores the high-country wilderness that borders the eastern slopes of Waterton Lakes National Park—from open meadows filled with wildflowers to high ridges with views. Offered are one-and-a-half-hour, two-and-a-half-hour, half-day, full-day, and overnight rides, as well as canoe-and-ride and raft-and-ride combination trips, cowboy cookouts, and cattle drives. Groups are small, from six to ten, while horses are gentle and responsive. The outfitter sets itself apart by allowing side-by-side riding rather than nose-to-tail. The all-inclusive two-, three-, and four-day overnight trips include a base camp with cabins, a cedar hot tub, showers, and canoeing at a nearby lake.
