Mountain bikers ride this 142-mile one-way route through a series of back roads in beautiful canyon country between Moab and Loma, Colorado. On the way you’ll see Castle Valley (21.1 miles), Fisher Valley (44.9 miles), Dewey Bridge (62.9 miles), Cisco Boat Landing (83.5 miles), and Rabbit Valley (108 miles). Trail surfaces range from dirt roads and some narrow tracks to paved roads. Eight small camping areas provide places to stay. You can start on Sand Flats Road in Moab.

  • There's no drinking water anywhere along the trail. A support vehicle is very handy to have.
  • Check the Moab Information Center and local book shops for maps and trail descriptions.
  • Elevations range from 4,000 to 8,000 feet. You could encounter spring snow in the mountains while heat is starting to increase in the desert.
