The Island in the Sky District offers access to overlooks of spectacular canyons from a high mesa top one to two thousand feet above the surrounding terrain. The 34-mile scenic drive allows for many pullouts with breathtaking views. The area also has hiking trails, as well as four-wheel-drive roads that access the backcountry.
