The Aruba Watersports Association intentionally sunk this 200-foot tanker in 2000 and it quickly became one of the island's most popular dives. The ship rests off the northern tip of the island close to another popular wreck, the Antilla. The Star Gerren sits on its port side in an easily-accessible 40-feet of water. This ship is ideal for both divers and snorkelers. Holes cut into the ship's superstructure before it was sunk, allow divers to safely access the interior of the wreck. Glassy sweepers hide out in the darkened interior, while yellow tail snapper and parrotfish parade around the outside.
