BeachExpert Tips & Helpful Hints
  • Also known as Pu'ala'a County Park, this site has a semi-natural spring-fed pool, palm trees, a shaded grassy area, restrooms, grills, and picnic spots.
  • Ahalanui Beach is a great place to snorkel for several reasons. First, it's volcanically heated to about 90 degrees. Second, a narrow inlet from the ocean is a portal for fish, so there are hundreds to see in the generally calm, clear water.
  • The park is patrolled by lifeguards. Find your way off Highway 137, just past Mile Marker #10.
