The Lookout Mountain Trail provides access to the top of Lookout Mountain where a fire lookout tower once stood (taken down in 1982). There are nice views of the Little River and the North Umpqua river drainage. On a clear day, some distant peaks are visible as well. Wildflowers are abundant in June and July, and wildlife sightings are common.
