  • The wall off Klein Curacao proffers fantastic diving, including a large cave off the northern tip where nurse sharks live in about 100 feet of water.
  • Though there are no facilities, day trips for varied interests (diving, snorkeling, and beach combing) make for a great outing for groups with varied interests. Ocean Encounters arranges for a full-day trip to Klein Curacao, including a lunchtime cookout on the beach.
  • Some of the best dive sites can be found off the west coast. Expect to find angels, solider fish, banded butterfly fish, parrot fish, and other reef species. The coral formations, however, aren't as impressive as those seen closer to the mainland.
