Mediterranean Turkey's most beautiful, and hence popular beach. Ölüdeniz, meaning "dead" or "calm," gets its name from the secluded lagoon at the beach's western end, which always remains calm, even in the worst weather. This fact makes it a good place to swim with younger kids.
