The Mallory Cave Trail extends westward .75 miles from the NCAR Trailhead. It leads to the largest cave in the park system. The trail is short but steep and rocky with an elevation gain of 740 feet. It is rated difficult by the Boulder Park Rangers.

Directions: From Highway 36, Exit the highway on Table Mesa Drive, south of Boulder. Turn west and follow Table Mesa Drive approximately 3.5 miles to the NCAR facility.

Elevation: 6,100 feet

Ending Elevation: 6,900 feet

Usage: Heavy

Difficulty: Strenuous
